I seem to recall 29-30" for a 2-1-2 setup with a big (1050cc) engine, 41mm
carbs, and 850 Lemans heads hogged out 'til the fins dropped off. Made
about a 100 at the wheel in a 370lb bike. Fun City.
The 2-1-2 worked quite well with big can type mufflers (no baffles) as
opposed to one extremely loud megaphone that seemed to touch down a lot.
