Always. Everything in Guzzi literature always refers to left (sinistra) or
right (destra) when referred from the seated riders perspective.
BTW, although left and right are absolutes, up and down aren't exactly. If
you have an old Premier Motors shop manual, take a look at pages 16 and 38.
Notice anything odd about those cylinder heads. The idiot printer rotated
the photos 90 degrees before printing. The heads are upside down, so right
looks left and vice versa. Discovered this when I asembled my rocker arm
bits backwards. WOW what a racket!
