Hi, ridders of geese! I've returned from Romania, and am back on the
list. I can't tell you how wonderfull my Ambo is in comparison to
eastern European bikes - I forgot how great a bike a Guzzi really is!
What a contrast. When I first got on the old goose and twisted the
throttle, I was surprised how much torque that old twiin produces. And
it is so stable. What a bike.
So now I am giving it a little loving attention, lubing all the cables
and such. I have a question: what are we using in our 4-speed trannies
these days? I had been using 80-90 fossle-based hypoid gear oil, but I
remember some talk about thicker synthetic oil making a noticable
difference in the shifting.
