after riding my Loop 3000 miles last week I still
wouldn't trade it for a new EV.....apples and oranges....

Amen to that!!! You can keep the new ones. The Loops have a class all of the
own.

I've ridden the EV's...you're right, they are fine machines...just like
the
new Hondas and Harleys....after riding my Loop 3000 miles last week I
still
wouldn't trade it for a new EV.....apples and oranges....

I made the trip for a different reason,to pick up a T3 LAPD and take
a test ride . The T3 was not worth moving from next door for $200 let
alone $2000 and 1000 miles,so it was left in Vermont. However the TEST
RIDE was great!!! I can see why MG will never reissue the loopframe or
anything close to it. The EV is an OUTSTANDING ride. Power, smoothness
,brakes, handling AND GOOD LOOKS ! Great machine. Between having my son
,Keith along and having that test spin ,in the mountain setting it more
than made up for the corroded T3 drenched in mouse piss I had to walk
away from. I just bought a 1993 Cal III Fuelie and now it looks like I
will be adding a new EV to the stable as well. The loops were OK in
thier time ,but that WAS a LONG time ago. The EV IS art on wheels
,especially from the RIDER's seat when going down the road. An old loop
will never again look the same :-}}!!!!!
