Hi all,
I got home on Sunday night with no problems. This was My first Moto
Guzzi National Rally and I really enjoyed myself immensely. As with any
large get together there were some problems but none that would keep me from
going again under the same conditions.
I did not expect to see MGNA there due to their problems with their
move and that was pleasant surprise. I really enjoy the test ride. I really
like the way the new EV handles and the power. Alas, since I doubt that I
could give up the loop I probably wont get one. Too bad I can't have TWO.
I did not get to meet all the people that I wanted to meet but I did
meet a some and that alone was worth the trip. I attempted to make the run
on Saturday to White Face but my clutch gave out. Yes, that was me you
smelled. I guess 28 years on a clutch is ok. I will be adding a deep spline
clutch kit to my list of winter projects. Thinking about a new lever with a
clutch switch and cable without a switch, I think this would add a little
crispness to the clutch. Anyone tried this?
I had a great time and really enjoyed meeting those I met and hope
to meet more of you in Skowhegan, Maine in September.
