I also used Aero oil. In my case it was Texaco Hvoline Aircraft
Supreme. It has treated my engines very well. The additives were
intended for many of the same operating conditions our cycles run under.
Temperature ,loading , layup/storage . Indeed ,a Guzzi air cooled has
more in common with a Lycoming than a Taurus
Whatever theories are brought up ,EXPERIENCE says IT WORKS !
That is enough for me !

I have always used areo shell 100 in my '70 Ambo with 20k miles. I am not sure if this is the best out now or not. I received my bike from my great uncle who was a pilot and mechanic and this is what he used from the time it was new. I recently pulled the pan off and it was spotless. -----Original Message----- From: dc-@webtv.net [mailto:dc-@webtv.net] Sent: Thursday, July 11, 2002 4:27 PM To: Loopfram-@topica.com Subject: Motor Oil Hi Loop Frame Owners, Iam new to Moto Guzzi and learning about my 73 Eldorado. What kind of motor oil do you guys like to run in your bikes. What weight and how much do you put in when doing a oil change?
