Karl,
Those bar clamps are different than the ones on my LAPD with a disc
but that is not surprising as a lot of thing are different on the LAPD. How
ever I know of at least one other '74 Eldorado w/disc (not LAPD) that has
the bar mounts the same as yours. I have seen several photos of this Goose
and it appears to be original right down to the paint. See shortcuts to

looking at the disc brake eldo I just picked up, I notice they have diffrent handle bar mounts. These are big cast aluminum units that tighten from the bottom and have smooth dome caps on top of the bars. Does anyone know why these were used instead of the regular style ?
