Well I mainly bought it for the front end. I have a 74 lapd with an 86 Cali2 engine. The bike has the twin leading shoe brake, which does not work well with the square barrel engine. The bike originally had a 4 leading shoe front end but the previous owner wiped it out in a wreck. So anyway I plan on doing a swap with the front ends and sale it. The bike is in good shape, except for the wiring. It has a box with toggle switchs on the handle bars that control the headlight and a huge spot light mounted on the crash bar. It also came with a bunch of new parts, including a new voltage regulator that harpers sold the owner to replace the Marelli one. It is a huge Lucas unit but it did not come with any wiring diagrams on how to hook it up. The guy I got it from still had a copy of the original title where he paid 1700 bucks for it in 74.
