Did anyone go to Americade at Lake George, NY? I went yesterday, by car
since I had the wife and kid, maybe a sidecar next year??
Tons of bikes and good people. Hundreds of Harleys, a couple of real
Indians, lots of Japanese bikes, some Germans, but the very few Italians
were mostly Ducatis. My brother has a thing for Honda CB750s, single over
head cam, not twin.
Spent a couple of hours and a couple of beers there with my brother and saw
one Guzzi the whole time, a late model California. Next year I've gotta go
and show off my V700. I'll bet its the only one at the show. Is this an
exclusive club or what? No wonder we've gotta send out west for parts.
