Patrick,
I can't even begin to tell you how jealous I am. I'm sure we all are. It
sounds like an incredible adventure. Touring that island on a Falcone must
be amazing. I know I'd be stumbling over my words trying to describe it.

Just call me green...Very green.

We are all finally together touring Corsica by Falcone. (We represent
Italy,
Switzerland, England, and me fom California, USA) Most of us met in Pisa
and Gordon DeLaMare arrived separately to Corsica from England. the weather
is kind of iffy for the whole week. Yesterday we had one Falcone bind a
valve in its guide which caused it to rap the piston gently. No damage
done.
Freed up once it cooled off and its on the road again after an oil change.
Today Gordon has a leaking carb float and Rossi has sheared a flywheel key
and spun the flywheel on the crankshaft. He will hand fabricate a new
woodruff key and be running again shortly.

I'm gradually being poisoned a bit. We have 22 Falconi in line and when you
ride at the rear on long grades you ingest quite a variety of concoctions
and
concentrations of lead substitute that they pour into the tanks. Makes it a
bit tough to smell the flowers as you ride by. Ah, but the sound at the
back
of this line is quite incredible. Ciao, amici.
