Thanks for the kind words, guys! The pictures do a good job of covering
up some flaws, but really it cleaned up pretty good. It's amazing what
some rubbing compound and elbow grease can do. I won't be entering any
bike shows with this one, but it is great for an everyday rider. I'll
probably keep this one rough and ready. When I do the LAPD Eldo, I'll do
a more proper restoration.

The seat is a generic Harley button tufted and diamond pleated springer.
I bought it complete with the pillion pad for $50 off Ebay. I did a farm
boy fabrication job with some scrap iron and the arc welder and now I got
a place to sit. It looks pretty good, but it ain't too awful comfortable.

I like the spots too. Thanks again. I was gonna save 'em for the Eldo,
but I got too excited. Guess I'll have to get another set.

It's running pretty good, and I guess I'll just learn to love the
whining.

 Nice spots!

Bike looks great, what type of seat is that?

bad

of my

your

P.S. This thing was doing some pinging too. I retarded the timing
a bit.
I'll have to ride it more and observe.
