Hi Jason,
I wrote down the number I found on the filter end of ones fitted to a customers Eldo. The number as I recorded it is "R64", however on K&N's website that number isn't listed. I believe they actually were the R-0640 listed under "Universal-straight, oval". The specs. match up (straight oval, 30 degree angle, 1 1/2" i.d. inlet) to those on the Eldo. These could also be the same as the MG2640 you mention.

When installed the ends of them are butted against one another. It's easiest to install them with the battery out, put one on first (I do the right-hand one) in the correct position, then the other on 180 degrees around until all the way on the venturi, then turn it and squeeze it past the first one until it too is oriented correctly. Other Loopers prefer to remove one carb (and manifold?) for installation, but this works for me. Hope this helps,

Charlie.

 Hey folks,

I just put some VHB30's on my Eldo (swapped out the Amal's) and was
wondering which K&N's I should use.
I have venturi's, but I'd wager they're the T3 variety. Smooth,
outside diameter about 1 1/2-2". I'm at work- the bike's at home, and I
forgot to measure before I left. Dang. I tried to find the number in
the archives, but all I've found is threads about machining the
venturi's down. I don't need to do this.
Choices are:
MG0100, for all 850's prior to 76 (probably not what I need)
MG0200, for T, T3, G5, etc. (could be this one)
MG2640, for G5, SP (another listing for G5, etc. could also be this one)
I don't know which are for round and which are for square slide carbs.
Dang, dang.
Suggestions?

thanks,
Jason
