John,
It was great meeting you too. I certainly will look forward to seeing you at
the Guzzis in the Blue Ridge Rally in Aug. That area is one of the nicest
I've been too and the rally site looks great. By the way...you planning on
going to the races in Kershaw?
As to the carb issue. I put K&N's on and I didn't rejet. I check the plugs
regularly and they are nice and tan. I think you could get away with a
rebuild of you engine and still keep the stock jets. You might raise the
tapered needle a notch but I will defer to the more experienced on that.
Regards...Ian

I obviously should have put different jets in my old Dell'Orto VHB 29's
since I put the K&N's on. I do not know which ones are required so I need
advice if anyone out there has any leads? It will be a good project when I
replace the pistons, cylinders and valves after the Blue Ridge rally this
August after achieving 150,000k. Also,it was a pleasure to meet and ride
along with fellow loopers Ian and Roberto this past weekend at Mt. Pisgah.
John S. Tired old Eldo ridden hard and hung up saturated.
