Hey Pete,

Mine leaks too....didn't before I did the same. How much is yours leaking?
How about turning the nuts another 1/4 turn?

As for using sealant.....depending on how much leaks out I would use a small
amount of Permatex.

Regards....Ian

Subject: Rear Drive Gasket

I have a small leak where the rear drive bolts to the driveshaft tube. I
had no leak when I got the bike. I replaced the paper gasket with a fresh
one and I cant get the leak to stop. The gasket surfaces were clean when
I reassembled.
IS there some gasket cement I should have used?
Any ideas???
Thanks

Pete
