I was hoping someone from the list could point out the error that kept spark
from one cylinder after I reassembled the Ambassador. Sure enough, the list
came through!!
It was suggested that the tach might be connected backwards. Yep, the tach
wire was connected to the wrong side of the coil. Not sure how that
happened. Makes me feel like a dumb ass. Meanwhile, I got the timing off by
fiddling, and one carb is flooding. At least I know it runs. It will be
back on the road shortly.
