I'm with ya Rich, near 2 years yes indeed, it's been a long time and I
can't wait for the end, it appears to be near. I have my "My First
Guzzi" article all drafted up and will take some pix when she is
completed - it's a rather long article as you can imagine, with 1.75
years of agony/frame-on restoration efforts. Frank Wedge may have to
cut it down a bit!
As for the sidecover screw, I made some calls and found a NEW one from
the MG Junkyard - he advertises in the owners news. Will continue the
search for the key.
Hey Tom Short - thanx for looking, I found the screw, so don't go crazy
searching for one.

Keith, It seems like its always something doesn't it? How the heck does a locksmith call themselves a locksmith if they can't make a key? I'll never understand this. If you have a key a professional can make a key regardless of whether they have a blank or not. And would you get that thing finished so we can see some pictures after this almost 2 year odyssey of yours ;-) Rich BTW: MG CYCLES has the screws listed 12706600 side cover screw, V7/Eld/Amb 11.21 9.50 ---------- From: Keith Ruff [SMTP:klru-@fcc.net] Sent: Wednesday, April 10, 2002 5:32 AM To: Loopfram-@topica.com Subject: Need a Sidecover Bolt and Ignition Key Also, I need to get a copy made of my ignition key. The locksmith I went to yesterday came up empty. I have an auto parts store searching. Anybody have some blanks? My key is a Magnetti Marelli E55. I did tell the locksmith and auto parts store that this key is also used on a Fiat, didn't help either one. Have a Great Day! Keith Ruff 71 Police Ambassador - NJ |
