This is on the ambo that ran fine when I bought it. I'm doing costmetics right now, and wasn't really planning on tearing down the engine 'till the end of riding season. well, I'm awfully glad I did. Got the pulley and timing cover off no sweat. Popped it on it's side and removed the oil pan....even got the 3 sheared off bolts out. What the...looks like a squirrel got caught in the oil sump or somthing. Lots of fine strands of hair wrapped around the crank and scattered all over the place. Damn Farmer Brown PO decided that since the oil filter was shot he'd just wrap a shop rag around it. I have no idea how long it was run like this, but judging from the state of the shop rag I'm guessing quite a while. shit. jeff ============================================================ Doing your TAXES?
