Zerhack and others, I went to my local liquor store yesterday to get some scotch. Zerhack recommended Glenmorangie Sherrywood, but its price was $56.90, as was Glenmorangie Portwood, which sounded interesting. I thought this was a bit pricey, so I got a bottle of Bowmore, my personal favourite for $37, which incidentally is the price for Balvenie sherrywood. I've tried regular Glenmorangie, which I liked, and I imagine that the Sherrywood and Portwood types are very good as well. I know you also recommended Lagavulin, but another scotch that will put hair on your chest is Talisker. At any rate, this Bowmore is rrreallly, rrreallly, ...gooood...(HIC)..
