Hi Patrick,
Jim says the "central focal point of activity" for the rally will be the
college, which has a paved parking lot adjacent to it. you can park
here.
All vendors, including Guzzi will have their displays there as well as
this being the place for registration and showers for campers. The
separate parking lot I mentioned for cars pertains to campers. If you
want to park there it is about 1/2 mile stroll through the (very pretty)
woods to the Alumni campgrounds.
Based on what you've told me about the motel in Saranac etc, I would
suggest driving the 15 minutes from Saranac to Paul Smiths and parking
in the paved lot next to the school building. Again, this area will be
the main center of activity. This is a little different than past
rally's held at this location but seems more conducive for meals, seeing
friends, seeing vendors etc. It appears the campground will be for
campers and evening activities.
Hope this helps, if you need anything else, please write.
Best Wishes,

Can you elaborate further? We have limited time and long distance, so we're flying to Albany and renting a car for the weekend. Already have a motel over at Saranac Lake. What will be my daily parking and hiking routine to attend the rally? Patrick Hayes Fremont CA |
