Jeff,
No laced-up wheel is easier to do than a straight spoke wheel. The bearings
require a bit of precision to get spot on but that is covered in several
Guzzi books. As far as lacing the wheels they a very straightforward. The
trick is knowing how tight the spokes should be. I can't give you a number.
It is sort of an intuitive art sorta thing. With some geometry thrown in.
If the learning curve gets too steep on it just send 'em out!

'Nother question -- how hard are these wheels to rebuild? If I do need to replace the front then I'd like to see if I could source a new hub and rebuild the wheel myself. From my BMW days, I would always send the wheel out as they were considered by many to be 'unrebuildable'. thanks, jeff ========================================================== Extra! Extra!
