Jeff,

No laced-up wheel is easier to do than a straight spoke wheel. The bearings
require a bit of precision to get spot on but that is covered in several
Guzzi books. As far as lacing the wheels they a very straightforward. The
trick is knowing how tight the spokes should be. I can't give you a number.
It is sort of an intuitive art sorta thing. With some geometry thrown in.
If the learning curve gets too steep on it just send 'em out!
