For those of you who wish to make your own petcock gaskets:

1 - aluminum, square, Orlandi petcocks
3/32" thick Viton
OD - 3/4"
small holes - 7/32"

2 - chrome plated brass petcocks
1/8" thick Viton
OD - 5/8"
small holes - 3/16"

I use hollow punches - got a cheap set at a Carlisle Car show one year.
Before using them, I did have to sharpen them up. Viton is the
material to use - top o'line. But the counter man at Potomac Rubber
(Wash. DC) said that he had some fuel resistant material that goes for
$3600/square foot. Viton (depending on thickness) is around $55/square
foot. They sold me some scrap sheets for around $10 each (1/4 square
foot) which will make more than enough gaskets.
