One should be marked DF the other D+, just connect to the regulator at the
DF and the D+. I believe the top is the DF and the one on the rear is D+.
Might have them backwards. Easy enough to check on yours.

I have a Marelli generator and when I came into possession of the bike it had a wire connected on top of the generator case going to the VR and one connected to one of the brush outlets on the back of the case also connecting to the VR.(Voltage Regulator) . My manual shows that the connections should both be to the brushes. So how are yours hooked up?
