I was having trouble with mine and Mark yelled at me to call him. SO I
did. I asked a price on a replacement and said go ahaead here's my CC#.
(now here's what makes Mark a star) he said before I sell you a new one
try some low tech fixits. Among them was sanding the contacts. Manually
activating the points and such. Low and behold what was once dead now
works. Beyond that it wastecan time at least to my abilities
Just some ideas for you to try.

Are these repairable? I just replaced my regulator and have the
original Marelli in my garage. Is it fixable or should I file it in the
garbage can? I gather it wouldn't be worth fixing?
