This is for all Loop-framers who really love their bikes. All others may delete this now.

I went to the Clarence, N.Y. motorcycle show this weekend. Lots of new bikes and a few older bikes. Not a big show but nice little accessable show.

There were two Guzzi dealers there, Sport Cycles and Williamsville Competition and Vintage Motorcycles, Holland, N.Y. There was a guy from Italy there who had lots of Guzzi experience. He really likes the old Loops and said, in broken English, "when you get on an old Guzzi you ride the bike - when you get on a new Guzzi the bike rides you". He also stated that "the old Guzzi's feel alive under you". I agreed and stated that the new ones were too "smooth" although it took me sometime to explain the concept of "smooth" to him, as I know no Italian. He finally got the "smooth" concept and said the Loops were not smooth and that's why he liked them so much and never got bored on them like the new bikes. Cool encounter - just thought I'd share. Bob
