I bought a set of LA sleeved 950 cylinders for my 1971 750 Ambassador
from Rissman Motors, Albuquerque NM, in 1984.
So far I have about 5000 miles on them and no problems. Bike has been
apart since 1992 due to transmission problems. But I turned the engine over
to where both the pistons are TDC. It was an exchange deal, I sent my old
cylinders and they used them as cores and sent me two in return.
The bike ran much better, much more power and so on. No changes to the
carbs or the exhaust system.
