Well better late than never... 1971 Ambo, in pieces, in my garage, in NYC. I bought the Ambo that was on ebay last spring with the dual disc japanese front end. I believe one of the list members referred to it as "beat to caca." It sat in my garage all summer while I rode last winter's project, my 1971 Triumph TR6C which is becoming quite jealous of the time I am spending with the Ambo. Now I am taking the Guzzi down to the frame and redoing the whole thing. The engine comes out this weekend. Been lurking for quite a while and have learned a lot. Thanks to all who share their knowledge on the site and those I have traded emails with. Photos and many questions to come.
