Subject: Base gasket replacement?

I am going to be pulling the heads on my '73 Eldorado in the next week
or so to send them to Mark to be redone. I replaced all of my gaskets
(and the o-rings) when I installed nikasil cylinders about 800 miles
ago. With the removal of the heads is it necessary to also pull the
cylinders and replace the base gasket when I reinstall the heads? I
didn't do the heads at the time I did the cylinders as it was getting
pretty expensive with the new cylinders/pistons/rings & wrist pins and
all.
Appreciate anyone thoughts on this.
