Hey just a thought, when looking at the wiring look at the Battery cables
too, you may have hidden corrosion. Mine had some kind of solid copper
terminals and had some green corrosion between the copper terminal and the
insulation. I reterminated the cable and found the green stuff went in about
3/4 inch. I ended up replacing the whole cable since the green stuff is not
as ion friendly as fresh copper.
