Total agreement. I have owned 2 71 Ambos - I regret having ever sold the
first one - and the only problems I have had that I didn't directly cause
are: bearings in the tranny (60,000 miles, just bought) frying the headlight
circuit at the fuse board (didn't use corrosion protection paste). I would
consider them as reliable as today's bikes, if all things are equal, meaning
a fully restored Ambo.
