Gary thanks for the reply. just did what you suggested and things work
great. starts and don't have to be messing around with finding netural when
it isn't running. don't have that problem on the 71 ambo, but this eldo was

On the neutral indicator switch (Left side of trans just above the starter ) you will find two wires. Thgere should be a black and a green. CAREFULLY remove the nut without allowing the stud to turn,which sometimes alters the switch setting. Now pull the black wire back thru the boot put the green wire back on the stud replace and tighten nut. The remaining black wire can be grounded under one of the switch mounting screws and you are ready to start in any gear you desire ! Kelly Hinegardner wrote:
