Myself, I am eating ground Bambi for this Thanksgiving...turkey is too
"usual" and I've had that every single thanksgiving for 30+ years. This
morning I had pan fried bambi patties with bambi gravy, eggs, and biscuits.
For lunch, I had leftover bambi burgers. For dinner, I'll fire up the grill
and grill some more bambi. Damn I like generous hunters who give me deer
meat.
Hope y'all are a bit jealous! ;)

Can we call every day Thanksgiving from now on? :-) We celebrate our Thanksgiving on the first Monday in October. We're not nuts about that holiday like you guys are but we do get it off though and eat gobble. I personally think our date falls in a better time frame.... more in between Labor Day and Christmas and it is a perfect time of the year to close up the cottages for the winter.
