With the stock springs, while cornering the front end would compress far
enough to drag the front engine mounting bolt, as you can imagine it was
quite exciting. We added spacers & stiffer springs from a set of rear shocks,
this was a major improvement but made the front to stiff causing it to bounce
in certain turns.
Also because of the circumference of the rear shock springs the outer cover
cannot be used. Off hand I don't remember what weight, but I used a heavy
gear lube in the forks which seemed to help quite a bit. Thanks to Mike
Skaggs, one of my winter projects is to install a disk front end form a T, in
it I will use the FAC damper & Wirth springs.

Here are some links to photos, these where taken by a professional
photographer, thus the copyright watermark. I plan on buying one of these,
maybe you guys can help me decide which one.

Last race of the year, getting around this guy to take second place is what
gave me enough points to win the championship.

Early in the season before I put the clubman bars on, I felt cramped & never
could get comfortable with these bars. Also the bike now has a different
exhaust on it than in this photo, this exhaust gave me more power but was not
totally legal so I changed it before anyone called me on it.
