Its amazing the amount of comments back because I asked folks to stop with
the tasteless jokes.
Some of you were very cordial and expressed you opinion, which I respect.
However a couple of you wanted to make it personal. My question is Why?
I thought this group was all about the promotion and fun of restoring and
riding vintage Motto Guzzi`s One of the main reasons that I joined was to
gleam, history and technical information about the Motto Guzzi Eldorado. I
have been very fortunate to have met some wonderful people who have given me
some great pointers. And I thank them for that.
True Harley`s have been known to be unreliable and antiquated in design and
performance. And yet they have developed an almost cult following in today's
society. If that is what a person is into, then respect it. If they want to
spend the majority of there time working on rebuilding their scoot, well let
them.
It all about making choices for you and what fits your lifestyle.

The only work I really do to my Eldo is adding gas and
changing the oil once
a year. All my HD buddies are constantly repairing or
rebuilding theirs.
They can't even do it themselves...they have to take it to a
shop. Whats
the point of a motorcycle that has to be rebuilt every 20K
miles? Sorry,
but thats my opinion.
Don't even get me started about the loud pipes they all
install.
