I have a few pics from the last race, but they were taken with a $50 point
and shoot camera...not real good, but not bad either. I'll see if I cand
get a friend to scan them for me to post somewheres in cyberspace. I met a
guy taking pics with a nice setup, but I don't know if he got any of
Ken...I'll check and see.

Consistant and steady riding rule over cocky and over your head. Have you come up with any pics of any of the 'battles' yet? Maybe we 'Loopers' should put our collective (round) heads together and come up with a design for the official 'Ken Pitts Racing Team' supporter T-Shirt. My collection of team shirts is small and showing it's age. Just think your shirt could hang in my closet alongside my autographed vintage (but tattered) Kenny Roberts, Randy Mamola and Jimmy (RIP) Adamo team shirts. Make a small profit to keep yourself in gas and oil. If the MGCL can help support a winning LSR effort, we probably could keep a national roadrace champion in spark plugs or something ;-) for our own little pride and joy. Anyway, Good Job! Final results are posted for the "American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association" (AHRMA) road race season. Much to my & a couple of other people's amazement, I have won the national title in "Historic Production Heavyweight" by 5 points. This win is not due to my own riding skill or really the overall speed of my bike but to the reliability of the old Guzzi. Several people in my class have faster bikes but with speed came mechanical problems that kept them from finishing every race, me & my bike crossed the finish line in every race we entered. This bike has had a long hard life, first pulling a side car for many years & then with very little done to the motor its getting flogged out on the race track. So for those that say Guzzi's are not reliable......well its just not been my experience. Thanks to everyone that came out to the races & especially to those that came by the pits & said hello. I'll see you out there next year. Ken Asheville, NC ============================================ Thinking about selling your home within the next 5 months?
