All-
Went to see Ken Pitts and his V-700 race at Carolina Motorsports Park today.
All I can say is WOW! Very cool seeing all the old bikes running like
hell around the track. A Goose from Fla. dominated his races, and there was
a V-7 Sport based one from NY who although didn't run the best, he performed
admirably...would have beat the snot out of a buell if he hadn't missed a
shift. Pretty good for only having gears 3-5. Don't think Ken won any
races, but ran well (and held his cool better than I could have) even after
a muffler removing mishap with a Suzuki rider tring to cheat him in a
corner. I can't remember any detais of placing or anything, I'll let Ken
tell y'all all about that stuff. If these races are anywhere near you, GO!!
More excitement than I deserved today. Well worth the 2.5 hr drive to get
there. I want to go to Road Atlanta next time they're there...Ken'll tell
us, wont he?
