Yup.....confused the hell out of me when I got into these birds :-) I still
don't know why they did it this way.
For reference....left cylinder (as sitting on the bike) is the #2 cylinder.
However you do you timing set up from this side.
Also..as you sit on the bike and look down at the distributor the leads will
run towards the back of the bike. The right side is for the left (#2)
cylinder. Actually has a little "2" marked on the distributor cap.
