Thanks for your brutal if not honest reply (LOL). Yes, I like it down here
much better, but she is up there and loves it. Hell, I saw snow and hail on
Sat! We get snow down here too (I'm in the mountains), but nowhere near
that much. I'm hoping the harsh winter will bring her to her senses and
make her move back down...or at least farther south.
No can do on the finding another one...I'm in too deep, and frankly, the NC
girls I meet are too damn materialistic, judgemental, and moronic for me. I
haven't dated in 3 years because of this. I know there are exceptions, but
hell if I can find 'em. Hope I've not offended anyone...this is only my
opinion and observation.

Uh, Chris, let me see if I understand this. Buffalo, New York or North
Carolina? North Carolina or Buffalo? Are you nuts??!! I'm glad you
enjoyed your visit to Buffalo during what I am sure was spring, summer, or
fall. Wait til Winter! You will see more snow by Thanksgiving than you
have seen in North Carolina in your lifetime! When I was younger and
dating, my buddies and I had a term we used when evaluating girls we
dated....GU. That was an acronym for Geographically Undesirable. Methinks
this young lady must be one hot number.....otherwise she is definitely GU.
If it were me, I think I'd search for a new companion in NC and not
surrender the climate and extended riding season, but that's just me. All
in fun, Chris, but.....are you nuts??!!

Howdy all-
On a similar note, has anyone looked at the MGBS list? I subscribed,
and
it
 seems to just be people with poor sense of humor trying to make jokes
(that
 aren't funny). What is the relationship to Moto Guzzi here? I don't
get
 it. I'm gonna give it a few more weeks and then unsubcribe if it
doesn't
 get any better.

On an unrelated note, I just got back from visiting my girlfriend in
Buffalo, NY (don't ask why she's up there and I'm down here). Any of
y'all
 from around there? I'm considering a move up in the semi near/far
future.
 Beautiful country where she lives (Warsaw) and my Buffalo nightlife
experience was absolutely tops! The only regret I think I'd have is the
shortened riding season.
Btw, I made the 12 hour drive in 10.5 hours today!!!! Gotta cure this
bad
 case of leadfootedness before I lose my license or worse.
Just curious.

Hi all,

Well, I just unsubscribed from the 'big' list. Just too much b.s. for
me, plus tooo darn many posts to go through. I've been on that list for
many years now, and have watched it grow and grow. But, much like a
Guzzi rally, I prefer quality to quantity. That is why this list fits
me
 
 so well. Thanks Dave O.!

So, now I have more time to go outside and look at, clean and ride my
Guzzis, and with the help and isperation(and a little ribbing) from
yous
 
 guys, a successfull repair or two also!

I am also on the Moto Guzzi Southwest list too.
