The starting point is that it has to look like a stock T-3 to satisfy the "collector" plate granting Nazis. Then slim that bad boy down. Right clipons for sure if the ergonomics are okay for me. Stainless brake lines, not sure about the airbox. Yes of course it will go, but, I want to have some kind of air filtration. Then find an alternate seatpan and build a nicer looking seat. That will probably do it for starters. I haven't really looked into the possibilities of what can do easily with things like carbs, cams etc. 1000cc kit sounds nice. first, gotta find the bike.
