Hi All,
Here's a couple of sources for polishing supplies:

Eastwood Co. - all the supplies you need including buffing motors, buffing videos and "Diamond Clear" to protect the polished part. In my experience, their service is excellent (the order is always correct and arrives in two days) and the quality of the product is very good. Prices are sometimes higher than comparable items elsewhere.

Caswell Plating - buffing kits, online buffing & polishing booklet, and as the name says, plating kits. I haven't bought anything from them, but the buffing booklet was very helpful.

Harbor Freight Tools - buffing wheels, compounds and motors. Bought a buffing motor from them and sent it back shortly after for an exchange. It was supposed to be 3/4 hp, but would stall with an 8" buffing wheel when trying to polish a part. The second one was the same, so I sent it back for a refund. All of this took the better part of two months. Ended up buying a bench grinder from Northern Tools and removing the guards. Would be nice to have the longer shafts though. It will suffice until I can buy or build a "pro" unit.

Northern Tool & Equipment - the previously mentioned bench grinder and ocassionally buffing supplies are available here, as well as all manner of shop equipment including a $500 hydraulic m/c lift table. Always great service.

Hope this helps! Cheers,

Charlie
