I had the problem with the overtight belt too. 2 shims, too tight...3 shims,
too loose. Went to auto parts store and told 'em I wanted one just a wee
bit longer. Works like a charm, but it's toothed on top. Dayco 15305.
Probably will want to find a gates later on tho.
