I got the neutral light working and took the belt off the generator,
then I plugged in the Dyna and let it rip. I only had two pints of gas
in the tank so it took a lot of spins to get it going but when it did,
oh my!
The Mac slashcuts were not as loud as I feared. The big suprise was the
timing gears. Someone on the MGCL described them as like a jet engine
spinning up and they weren't far wrong. I ran the bike for a while in
the driveway to get it hot and then shut it down. I will torque the
heads and adjust the valves tomorrow. I plan on hitting the DMV on
Tuesday to start the titling process so I can get plates.
So it took me two years to do what Dave O. does in two weeks, I want to
go to MD. on a Loopframe.
