Gary, I too had thought about making them. But it was pointed out that the
liability in this society is a bit steep. SO if you do print in bold on the
reciept.."For display purposes only" this is the CYA trend for most home
engineered bits. thanks to our lovely litigious society.

The sub frames could be made from a combination of steel tube and flat stock properly welded and metal finished you couldn't tell them apart from originals. If you don't have a pair for a model I can measure up a pair of mine and send you some drawings to help in fabrication. I have been thinking about makung a couple dozen sets of these over winter. Of course you will still need control levers and they could also be made from weldments ,provide you use a CAPABLE weldor. You can use the stock brake lever,it will work. Again some good metal detailing and chrome plating will get you a good pedal . The rest of the linkage should be pretty straightfoward .
