Brad,
For fixn' up...Guzziology is the best compliment to the shop manuals.
For sheer enjoyment (Loopframe) go with Greg Field's book "Moto Guzzi Big
Twins". For general Guuzi stuff go with Styles book simply titled "Moto
Guzzi".
Regards...Ian

Subject: Book suggestions?
I've got a birthday coming up and I figured some loopframe books would be good ideas to offer (a set of sleeves is probably too much to ask for). I'm looking for suggestions on books, manuals, etc. that'll be useful for getting my Ambo fixed up and back together. Of course, Guzziology is one I don't have that will definitely be on the list. I already have a manual for 700s and 750s that was published by Premier Motor Corp. Unfortunately it only covers Marelli electronics and I have the factory Bosch stuff on my '71 Ambo. Does Mick Walker's 'Restoring Moto Guzzi V-Twins' cover loopframes very well? Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks Brad Kruse |
