Hi Kev,

Only event I have on the calendar for the 9th is the "Nostalgia Run" in
Thurmont, MD. It's a poker run for antique and classic bikes with support
classes for modern ones. Sept. 30th is the Italian Moto-Fest in Shepherdstown,
WV. This is a bike show for all the Italian brands with Italian food and games.
This is the second year, so it promises to be even better than last.

Anywho, when I started laying out the route for the "Loop Loop" it always ended
up being 150 miles. There are so many fun roads in the area that I wanted
everyone to experience. Finally, after three tries I got it down to a nice 94
mile ride that incompasses Antietam Battlefield and other Civil War sites, the
C&O Canal, nice views of the Potomac & Shenandoah Rivers and other interesting
areas. Oh, and plenty of lightly traveled curvy roads!

Accourding to what I have here, looks like there's 2. One on the 9th, But I
believe the big one is Sept 21,22,& 23. Where? no idea figured I find it
when I got there!

That is the one right Ian?

Kev,

I think the Md Rally will be the "honorary Loopframe Rally" site for
2001....at least for us easterners. So many are planning to
attend....including the Loopframe Guru with Norine....not to mention the
Loop loop. My hope is that we outnumber all other Guzzi's there. Geez I
hope this long summer we've been having drags on. Sept can either be
REALLY
 nice or TERRIBLE. I am wishing for the former :-)

Where abouts are you located again? Andy and I will be coming from the
north
 (Penn Yan...just south of Rochester) for those who want to join in with
the
 Loop group.

As for the cult thing....yeah that is what we are......all sitting around
a
 fire at night slurpin' and burpin' rhythmically as the thump of the Loops
beating their wings sounds in the distance. I'm starting to fall into a
trance as I write this....... :-)

As for the red white and green stuff.....all depends what you ate and how
much you drank the night before :-)
