Dave Jackson (Junior's Restorations) who used to advertise in the
MGNOC newsletter is apparently now working more exclusively on the bacon
slicers from what I've been told. Another guy, Jose Bartoli in NYC who
places ads in the newsletter also has some connections in Italy for
parts. They're both in the bacon slicer club, which you should probably
investigate.

I know this is a little of the subject, but I am hoping someone can help me. I am going to go look at a 47 Airone that I am interested in buying. Does anyone know about parts availability for these bikes and were to get parts. I have heard that some dealers in Italy caries some of parts for the Bacon Slicers. I am just worried about the mag or dynamo or something else going out and not being able to get the parts to fix it. The bike has been sitting and will not start, but the owner says it kicks over. The last time it was on the road was over a year ago when he parked it. Also can you get manuals in English for these models ? I just do not want to end up with a bike that can not be fixed. I bought a real nice old Jawa a while back that happened to and ended up trading it for some Guzzi parts. Karl and Jane Kologiski |
