Is the Ambo nut shouldered like the Eldo?
If yes, it is probably dimpled (it should be) into the grooves in the
splined output shaft. You would have to use a very small drift to get in
there and raise the dimple. This virtually means replace the nut.
On my eldo we put a socket, breaker bar, huge extension and then a wrench
on the BAD nut on the front of the crank. A friend held the front wrench
on the crank BAD nut I took up the tension then gave it one almighty jerk
pull; not the kind where you slacken the pressure then sanp up, but, rather
a jerking pull from full no slack position. Bingo, it worked.
