I'm real sorry to hear about John. I know, that as an honored member of the Guzzi community, he was also one of the good people we should all hope to meet and know as a friend. Although I did not know him, I am sure that his wisdom and stories of his exploits shall continue to circulate the Guzzi family for many years to come. In that way, he will remain a part of our society forever. It is because of people such as John, even more so than the bikes themselves, that I have become enamored with the society of Moto Guzzi people. In a world where Character does not seem to matter, we have found a community of people with character. Deals are made, friendships formed, and adult beverages are consumed with a smile and a handshake. A community where help is offered, and never withheld. It is a community where I feel lucky to be a participant, however minor the part.
