Just remember: the crank and it's rotating buddies are not only turning but
stopping and reversing both the pistons twice per revolution. Glance at
your tach while doing sixty mph and mull that over. It's going about 4
times that fast.
That's a trip.

Greetings, About a week ago I listed a question here concerning the RPS of the front wheel of a V-700 at 60 MPH. Two folks responded and said that the RPS would be 13.17........13.17 revolutions per second at 60 miles per hour. Yep........correct.....and when I did this calculation I arrived at 13.17 revolutions per second......but I then looked at my watch and when I noticed how quickly the second hand moved from one second to another second, I asked myself...could this be correct?? I then decided to ask people on the list, for verification. Yep, it's correct and thanks for the responses...... John P. Smith Sweden, Maine '67 V-700 '72 Eldo '87 SP-II '98 EV II |
