I just got home from the National to discover that my good freind, John Loyd
of Las Vegas had a bad crash in the desert on the way to the event. He was
riding alone and got off hard and fast in a corner. No witness and so it was
apparently some time before he was found. Currently in a Las Vegas trauma
center on life support with at least a broken back. I'll keep you posted. I
am trying to reach Tim Crump in Las Vegas who surely must be home by now, but
I don't have a phone. If anyone has it, pass it to me please. John is well
known internationally for his local hospitality to traveling motorcyclists.
