Hi Kevin,
The rally site is a reserved camping area within Sherando Lake State Park,
right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are showers for the use of that area
only - "outsiders" are run off by the attendant who stays there. Beautiful
area, quiet, all the conveniences approx. 6 miles away (motels, restaurants,
etc.). All park privileges apply (swimming, etc.) Lots of historical sites
and great roads. Usually a nice turnout and good food. Rally fee per person
is $25 postmarked by Aug. 7th, $30 at the gate. See the ad in the MGNOC
Newsletter for more info. or contact Ron & Alice Komorski, 672 Mt. Olivet
Church Rd., Lynchburg, VA 24504-4031 or email <motres-@lynchburg.net>
Phone (804) 993-3841 evenings & weekends, or (804) 522-6112 days.
Hope this helps, hope to see you there!
Charlie
